"Every time of midnight. Every time we muddle again. Hold on lovely memories. Every sound you bring out. Every time we suffer again. Holding lovely memories".
DESCRIPTION: I love the colours of this artwork ♥ So soft and magical. Working on this was a hard job. But it's finally done! I hope that *CherubJibril really like it ^^
This excellent, lovely, and-and....... I don't know!!!!! I ran out of words already to describe this beauty. I love how the shading works with the he's poised. And it looks as if he's reaching out to the moon in the background. The originality of an elf angel is amazingly wonderful. You madam are an amazing artist. Keep up the wonderful work and it will get you to something amazing in life. Trust me. I seriously wish I could pluck this picture right off my computer how amazing it is. It's inspiring. You are a amazing. I believe this song [link] goes her nicely pronounces this picture. Amazing. Keep up the excellent work.
Positives: Your details are superb. Little things like the texturing of the gold filigree and the blue innards of the sleeve or the shadows for every ripple of the tunic really speak to the effort put into this piece. Otherwise, your concept and execution are clear and strike as poetic.
Negatives: Warning, going to nitpick here.
First, with the assumption that the light source is indeed the ray of light above the moon, some of your shadows are inconsistant with it's lighting direction. The ones that are readily apparant are the shadow of the collar and the shadow under the elf/angel's ear. Because the lighting comes from the top left corner, a more accurate shadow would be for the collar shadow to be parallel or even to the right of right collar (at the moment, the shadow is consistant with lighting that comes from the top right corner instead of the top left corner. Furthermore, the shadow of the ear should be parallel with the direction of the lighting.
Second, the birds/other angels/dots contrasted with the moon forcefully pull your attention to them rather than compliment the piece. And while they might be in the focal's view and direction of vision, they seem random and are too noticeable because of their contrast with the moon. The viewer (in least of my case) is left wondering the significance of those black dots admist a light coloured background. Perhaps tone down their darkness or spread them over the background and not so concentrated around one spot.
All in all, a well made piece with a clear display of skill and effort despite a few inconsistancies.
I saw the model's face and thought, it's Berry! And in a little small edge of your description I found his name! x3 I was right! *proud be* Your pic looks really like a painting. I like it a lot! ^^
Amazing. Keep up the excellent work.
